Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre

A great place to visit when in the area. The site would be 95% accessible throughout. There is a couple of sections that you can’t access in a wheelchair. The cable room there is a down stairs part, you can see the jist of it from the viewing platform. You can’t climb the stairs at the shaft its self or get in the tunnel section. All though these parts can’t be accessed, the majority of the site has great access. The ramps are great and good circulation throughout. Few bumps and rocks to get through to make it out to mine shaft, unless you can drop down step.
